Ever since I ran the Rock n Roll Savannah Full Marathon in 2011, I wanted a re-do. I was ready for the race, but felt like I tanked. I had extra energy at the end and knew I could have done much better.
Since I couldn’t repeat Savannah in 2012 due to knee issues, I decided to pick a Spring marathon once I got the ‘all clear’ for my knee. I wanted to find a pretty course that was in a new, fun city. And somehow I landed upon the Pittsburgh Marathon in May!

And even more exciting news, I am going to be an “Official Blogger” for the event! So get ready to hear about my training, cross training, and race weekend fun. There is some pretty neat opportunities for that weekend that I get to partake in. And this is my virtual vow to bring it with my training…
