Hey Y’all!
I am so excited to talk to you ladies about my first run skirt! Yep, I broke down and did it. I was at Women at Fleet Feet after our run last Saturday and decided to try on some of the new apparel. I saw the new Brooks Glycerin skort on the wall. The bright purple and floral band jumped at me. I wanted it, I needed it. I tried it on over my shorts (because I was so stinkin’ sweaty and nasty).
It was love at first try on.
Then I took it on our first date on Monday. A four mile run. I was nervous my thighs would cause the short portion to ride up. Nope, the shorts have a grip liner on the edge that makes the stay in place. Plus a little glide always works
I am so glad I decided to get the skirt/skort. I love it! It’s sassy, makes you feel feminine while you run, and so light that it’s great to run in the Savannah heat with! For an idea for sizing, I got a medium and I usually wear between a size 8-10 (with an occasional 12 from designers that suck).
I also picked up some new Zensah compression sleeves, because hubs keeps stealing my blue ones. So I snagged some pink tie-dye ones. Bet he won’t steal those
And thanks to Fleet Feet for allowing me to be a part of your family! I am so honored! More details on this later, but I am sure you have seen the Fleet Feet love on my blog for over a year now so none of my news will come as a shock
And thanks Fleet Feet for decking me out in the skirt and sleeves. I already look cuter!

Also, check me out today on Hank’s Blog as I am guest posting for him while he is frolicking overseas. I am talking about some tips for newbie tribies! It goes live at 8am, so hold your anticipation until then
Have a great Friday, y’all. My parents got into town, so I am ready for a pretty stellar weekend. Can’t wait to recap all our fun on Monday!

I had to have that skirt too! One thing I noticed about it was it retained sweat on those 10 mile runs. It got heavy! But when you are sweating buckets….what do you expect…miracles? I also picked up the hot pink one from nike! And can I guess I will be seeing you at our favorite store on saturdays….if I go in?
You have awesome legs…show them off!
Hey Jenn! I am actually the voice behind the Women at Fleet Feet twitter account and working on the FF pinterest board, plus another fun surprise on my blog. Stay tuned
And thanks for the legs compliment… working hard to get them lean and fast…. such a process!!
LOL on the pink Zensah’s!
I have a Brooks skirt — different pattern, but it looks like the same style. And I LOVE it! I LOVE and NEED that little gripper hem!
I love all of Brook’s running skirts, they are my favorite thing to run in.
SO … I think we need to make a date at Fleet Feet ASAP. That skirt is SO DANG CUTE!
