Elf on the Run 2014 Recap

It’s amazing what 12 days, 148 runners and one little idea can do for our community.

Let’s break down the numbers of the 2nd Annual Elf on the Run….


213 Dog & Cat Treats or Food Items for One Love Pet Rescue

1214 Tolietry Items for Union Mission

3 Boxes of Cards for our three local runners who are deployed in Afghanistan

Trash pick up during run/walk

5,805 coffee cups & 1,078 plates for Emmaus House (soup kitchen)

Over 200 Canned Goods for SAFE Shelter (domestic abuse shelter)

202 Glues for Urban Hope after school program

459 markers & 388 paint brushes for Coastal Center for Developmental Services via the Along Came Bill Foundation

$162 for background checks for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Coastal GA

396 pairs of socks for Greenbriar Children’s Home

115 packs of index cards & 482 highlighters for Performance Initiatives after school tutoring 

Free Day- Elves planned food drives, made cookies for co-workers, read extra to their children, donated to their favorite charity and spread holiday cheer throughout our community!
