2012 Fall/Winter Race Schedule

I figure if I put my Fall/Winter Race Schedule on here, I will stick to the training. So let’s see what I have up my {compression} sleeve.

October 14th-

North Face Endurance Challenge- Pine Mountain, GA (Half Marathon)

This will be my first trail race EVER. And since I have an infinity for tripping over sidewalks, I am really nervous about this race and learning to pick up my feet. I am not expecting to break any speed barriers, but enjoy the course and elevation gain. And there were talks last week about us camping before hand. In my pink tent! That makes me all excited, I love my pink tent :)

November 3rd-

Rock n Roll Savannah (Full Marathon)

I am really hoping that my training will be up for this, I want to break below 5:30 for my time. Plus the new course looks awesome. Less time on the Truman should make everyone happy!

November 17th-

Mad Marsh Ultra (50k)

Using the Full as a training run…. but if not recovered, going to do the half option at Mad Marsh. Because I am not a dummy and I want my legs to last forever!

December 1st-

Enmark Savannah Bridge Run (debating 10k or Double Pump again!)

Up and over and over again??

December 15th-

Reindeer Run 8k

I have to claim my fame for 1st…. in the costume contest. Ideas are already floating around my head :)

And if you can’t tell, I was a cup of hot cocoa. Complete with real jumbo marshmallows, candy cane, and a handle on a bucket wrapped in Christmas paper.

December 16th-

Jacksonville Half  or Full (possible race)

So there you have it…. my fall/winter (tentative because some have not been registered for) race schedule.

Now let’s keep logging the miles and putting in the cross training!

What does your schedule look like?

You TOTALLY forgot to say “Enmark Bridge Run with my super awesome fellow squirrel girl, lab-partner, and runner enthusiast Veronica whose driving all the way up from Florida to run this with me because she loves me, my husband, and my dog that much! And I love her too. She’s amazing, smart, funny, sweet, has the cutest little boy. . . . ” Well, you get the point. I’ll let you embellish the rest. Shouldn’t be too hard. :)
